1. It's so much more refreshing to see these Japanese fights with Ling and Asuka and such lesser used characters than Korean matches with Lars, Bruce, Steve, Bob and Bryan.. I'm so sick and tired of those characters!!!!
2. Did the game really say 'chicken' at 2:39?? I've never heard that before...
3. The first video stopped at 6:00 for me and wouldn't work after that. Is it my computer or is it a glitch in the video?
DrBhup: a chicken is when you counter a regular reversal. Using f1+3 for 1 and 3 moves (left kicks, left punches etc) and following the same pattern, f2+4 for 2 and 4 moves. This is to be done very quickly after your move have hit the reversal, and therefore it is very useful to learn to buffer this into many attacks, while fighting a reversal heavy character like Asuka. Especially when she has her back to the wall and gets big damage. If it's a 1+4 move or such that does not correspond to a button directly, look at what leg/arm that hits the opponent first.
In the T6 console release the voice that says chicken was removed, I heard it was some kinda mistake by programmers since Jack does not count down loud when doing his unblockable, etc. But I can't be sure. In arcade it's kept tho and that's what you heard.
