PSN Members May Be Fucked

"AAAAHH, I'll buy it at a high price" According to a resent article on Kotaku, PSN member's credit card information is for sale on the internet.

"Now, these sellers could be full of shit. I could put a listing on craigslist right now selling the moon for $50 and there's nothing stopping me. Given the severity of the situation and the nature of the claims, though, let's hope "full of shit" is all these people are."

Before you start to make preparations for suicide, I'd like to remind that this news came from Kotaku, which should _always_ be taken with a very large gain of salt.

I'm not an authority on this issue but all I know is that I'm not very worried at all.

This is why I don't buy shit on the internet or put that kind of info out there. If I were to HAVE to get something on the internet I would use one of those pre loaded credit cards with just enough cash to cover the product. As far as PSN goes, just get a PSN card. Like Aris said, lets just hope these people are full of shit.

Fact of the matter is SONY HAS SERIOUSLY FUCKED UP by allowing this to happen. 75 milllion people could be at risk for idenity theft now. I hope that is not the case, but all we can do now is change your credit card info, get regular credit reports, and check your bank statements often.

I'm just saying...
