I just started playing the game seriously yesterday. It seems to me that the window in which one can break throws feels less than that of Tekken's. Would I be right? And is there any frame data available for the throw break window? I'm so use to playing Tekken where I can see a throw and have enough time to determine a break, but here it feels like I almost have to just assume the throw is coming. I'm new to the whole 2D fighting genre so im wondering if it's possible in these instances to be able to see a throw and break in time or if I should just assume its coming and throw out a break.

@chemicalred
Generally, in 2D fighters you have to recognize the situation where your opponent is going to try and throw you instead of breaking the throw on reaction with a right button, as in 3D fighters. Even with MK being kinda unorthodox among 2D fighters, I'm quite sure the above generalization applies to it. MK just has two escapes for a throw instead of one.
