Nobi Gaisen Cup - MASTERCUP Assault Category Summer 2015 Announced

Another whopper of a name. MASTERCUP has recently announced a new tournament being held in Japan for Tekken 7 - The Nobi Gaisen Cup. The 'gaisen' bit on the name means a big triumphant return so this tournament is being held to celebrate Nobi's victory at EVO this year. The current format for this tournament is 3on3 with team entrees limited to 36 teams in total so it's not a huge tournament but it could expand in the future. It's going to be held in Namco's Hakata Bus Terminal Arcade on the 30th of August so the tournament is not too far away from now. Should more details on the tournament including a stream or videos come in the future, we'll let you know. For now, the tournament details and in-game prizes are now available.

Korean Challenger Only Practice Enters Ultimate Tournament XVI

Presenting the first international competitor for the upcoming UTXVI tournament in France, Only Practice from Korea! Only Practice will be entering the tournament bringing his signature style of extremely good execution and combo optimization in Tekken Tag Tournament 2. This marks a rare occasion since it's not often that you see Only Practice play outside of Korea so this will be Only Practice's first time playing in Europe. Only Practice is amongst the first of the international competition announced for UTXVI with more to come in the future. A trailer video for the new challenger has been prepared and is now available for viewing. Europe's upcoming large scale Ultimate Tournament XVI will be taking place at Pourrieres, France in October this year.

Twitch Tekken Crash - Group A Official Video Archives

EVO 2015 came and went but that was the only thing going down this weekend. The Group A division of the Twitch Tekken Crash show also was streamed onto Twitch during EVO Sunday. I'm unofficially dubbing this 'episode #1' after the preliminary qualifiers earlier this month since it makes it easier to keep track of this show. Once again, this is the Group A division so the winners from this week go on to advance in the Group A section of the tournament (Spoiler warning: Visual here.) If you missed out on watching it live, then you can catch up with the videos on the eSportsTV_global channel: (I've also listed the teams and players below)

EVO 2015 - Bandai Namco Panel ft. Harada & Murray

Thanks goes to the official EVO Youtube channel for the speedy upload, the video for the Bandai Namco Panel at EVO 2015 is now available for viewing. In it, Aris is joined by Harada, Murray and Markman as they delve deep into several topics about Tekken 7 and answer questions about the title and the scene surrounding it. The video spans about an hour so it's almost about the length of an average ATP Live episode. There's plenty of good information to take from this so it's well worth watching in it's entirety. You can catch it all below:
