Soul Calibur 6 - New Character Azwel Reveal Trailer

The new character that we've seen before in the Libra of Soul trailer has now officially been unveiled. Azwel, the so-called leader of humanity joins the stage of history wielding his Palindrome weapon that can materialize many other weapons in battle. The character concept seems a little similar to the way Noctis in Tekken 7 fights except with added muscle buster. Interestingly enough, the confirmation of this character's name lines up with an old leak on 4chan back in June which outright named Azwel and several other unrevealed characters. Azwel was revealed live during the Soul-Cal Ring Out event but the trailer is also available to watch on the Bandai Namco US YouTube page.

Gallery - Soul Calibur 6 Libra of Soul & Character Creation Screenshots

The second single player story mode called 'Libra of Soul' was unveiled at Gamescom and out comes a big batch of images showing it off. This batch of images include pictures of the character creation feature in the game with a large bunch of sample characters that can be used in all other gameplay modes. Pre-emptive warning for those on slow internet or data connections, the images in this gallery go over 150mb so please take note (images are full 1080p but resized to fit the page). Soul Calibur 6 - Tira DLC Character Reveal Trailer

Tira has been revealed as a pre-order bonus DLC character for Soul Calibur 6 in her new reveal trailer! Introduced back in Soul Calibur 3, Tira returns to SC6 wielding her Ring Blade complemented with her combat style that can vary between the two 'jolly' or 'gloomy' moods during a match. Check out all the new stuff she's capable of in the reveal trailer.

Soul Calibur 6 - Libra of Soul Story Mode Trailer

The second story mode included in Soul Calibur 6 has been unveiled in a new trailer straight out of Gamescom! Titled 'Libra of Soul', the mode follows a story with a customizable main character roaming the world in a quest to stop the newly revealed villian. Check out the wide variety of customization options in the game and some gameplay segments in the new mode which is pretty reminiscent of the weapon master modes from Soul Calibur games of the past.

Steam Store Page for Soul Calibur 6 is Now Live

Pre-orders for Soul Calibur 6 are now available on Steam with the listing going live for everyone as of today. The Steam store page details all the basic info behind the game including the recommended specifications, supported languages, local game modes, controller support, Steam cards/cloud saves and various other stuff. Considering how well the PC version of Tekken 7 turned out, Soul Calibur 6 should hold good prospects when it eventually comes out. Soul Calibur 6 is launching worldwide on October 19th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One & PC via Steam.
