Tekken World Tour Tokyo Masters Event on September 3

Join us in watching the Tokyo Tekken Masters event taking place in Akihabara's E-sports Square venue later today. This is the next MASTER titled event within the Tekken World Tour so there's big qualification points on the line for all the competitors participating. Since this tournament is taking place in the capital of Japan, you can expect a smorgasbord of great Tekken talent from the region with neighbouring players from Korea coming together for a big show. Like the previous TWT events, this will be streamed over on the official Tekken twitch channel with pools starting at 9 AM Japan time (5 PM PDT.) The tournament is expected to last a long duration of the day with Top 16 starting at 5 PM (1 AM PDT) and expected to finish in roughly 4 hours. Tekken World Tour Korea Master Event Top 8 YouTube Archives

The TWT Korea Master Event was without a doubt the most difficult tournament for anyone on this planet to win due to it being on South Korea's own soil. This tournament featured a large concentration of world class Tekken players from the region along with foreign Japanese invaders aiming for TWT points to qualify for the Grand Finals. JDCR, Saint, Knee, Nobi, Take, Yuu, Chikurin, Jeondding and a whole bunch of some of the lesser known players from the scenes like Noroma, Cherry Berry Mango, Lili man and more were all at this tournament. T7 Online Ranked Matches - Japan's Highest Ranked Lee Player VS Knee & Ji3MoonAce

If you have ever been following the Japanese Tekken scene for the past few games, the name Hari (はりー) might be familiar. He's a notable Lee player who is at this point in time, currently Japan's highest ranked Lee player in arcades. He was also a really high ranker back in Tekken 6 and Tekken Tag 2 arcades so he knows his way around using Lee. Recently, Hari has been recording his matches online in Tekken 7 and uploaded footage of him deathmatching Korean players; Knee and Ji3MoonAce. These matches make for a good watch despite the online Japan to Korea connection so take note if you're interested in playing Lee. Korean Player Jeondding is Representing r/Kappa at Manila Cup 2017

Recently on r/Kappa's list of agendas was deciding which fighting game player to sponsor for the upcoming Manila Cup event. The aggregated list of players put forward by the subreddit's users ended up with Jeondding, 310, Daru Ino, Dora, 200won, LowHigh, Kedako, Isamu and Qudans. r/Kappa decided on sending two players from that list of players and the results of the votes saw 310 and Jeondding with most of the final votes. Both of those two players are now set to be repping r/Kappa at Manila Cup which is taking place in Quezon City, Philippines on September 10 and 11. You can look forward to seeing the Tekken Top 8 EVO 2017 finalist get his Lucky Chloe/Eddy/Abs out there over at the tournament.

Tekken World Tour Korean Master Event on August 6

Today in Korea is a Master Event for the Tekken World Tour featuring an intensively stacked bracket of amazing Tekken players. Players entered into the tournament include JDCR, Saint, Knee, Nin, Jeondding, Qudans, LowHigh, Chanel, kkokkoma, MBC, Narakhof, Dejavu and a bunch more from Korea. The Japanese players Nobi, Yuu, Take, Chikurin & Kuro Kuro are also in attendance to try and earn some TWT points for themselves at the tournament. All these Tekken champion level players are here at this one place making this without a doubt one of the most challenging Tekken tournament to win in the world.
