Nobi is Japan's First True Tekken God!

Congratulations to Nobi for finally being the first True Tekken God from Japan! The players from Korea arrived earlier today and are currently deathmatching the regulars in the Namco Sugamo arcade. Knee and Nobi got the chance to deathmatch each other earlier tonight and Nobi pulled through up against Knee's Bob/Paul team. It's been over 3 years since the release of the TTT2 in the arcades so it certainly took awhile for Japan to reach the last rank the game had to offer. Unfortunately, the matches between Knee and Nobi were not streamed however Yuu mentioned that the matches between the two are being recorded. When these matches get put up for everyone to see, we'll keep everyone posted.

MASTERCUP.6 | Japanese 5on5 Tekken Team Tournament Streamed Live on Nov 3rd!

MASTERCUP is back in full force! The latest installment in the large tournament series has amassed a grand total of 750 players to compete in the 5on5 styled tournament set to happen this Sunday, November 3rd. Among the large list of players are notable names such as Nobi, Knee, Qudans, JDCR, Help Me, Saint, moQ, Yuu, AO, Secret, Nin and even Tekken's own Katsuhiro Harada and Michael Murray join in to participate. GREEN ARCADE × MASTERCUP Japan VS Korea 7on7 Battle Announced!

MASTERCUP.6 is almost here! In collaboration between the MASTERCUP group and Green Arcade, 7 players from Korea that are attending the MASTERCUP.6 tournament will go up against 7 of the highest ranked and well regarded players from Japan. The battle is set for the night after MASTERCUP.6 which is scheduled to take place on the 3rd of November and is going to be broadcasted. You can look forward to watching this massive battle as well as the large, 750 player entrant, 5on5 MASTERCUP.6 tournament in November. You can see the participating players below.

TTT2 - Team "Sexy Zone" Footage from Seremura Cup

As part of an ongoing promotion for the upcoming MASTERCUP.6 tournament, MASTERCUP has published a new set of interviews on it's official website with several Japanese players. The latest interview features a batch of videos from this year's Seremura Cup which was a 3on3 Waseda styled tournament that wasn't broadcasted. The footage contains videos of team "Sexy Zone" which is made up of Maabuu (Bryan/Bruce), Shou (Devil Jin/Nina) and Yanpan (Devil Jin/Heihachi) going against several other teams during the tournament's first qualifier phase. RB5G - East & West Online Qualifier Results

The RedBull 5G Competition has recently conducted their online qualifiers for both East & West Japan and we now have top 8 from both regions that shall proceed onto the offline qualifiers. The results are posted on the official site and I've taken the liberty of translating the names and inserting them below for everyone. Although there wasn't a broadcast for the online qualifiers, the finals for this event should be broadcasted on niconico and I'll have more details on it around December 15th.
