AfreecaTV & NiceGameTV Announces the AfreecaTV TEKKEN League 2017

Korean broadcasting companies AfreecaTV & NiceGameTV have announced a new collaborative Korean esports league dubbed the "AfreecaTV Tekken League 2017" (ATL for short). ATL 2017 pits together high level Tekken players that have performed really strongly in both international and domestic tournaments for a League with a total prize pool of around $5000 USD. ATL will be a big showcase for perhaps the best level of Tekken in the world and it will be streamed live every Friday and Saturday starting from May 19th up until the Grand Finals which is taking place on the 16th of June. Best of III Podcast Featuring Aris

Best of Three is a podcast carried out by Daily Dot Esports as a source of fighting game news, analysis and interviews. The episode for this week included special guests; Gllty and ATP's own Aris as they dig into and discuss a number of different topics like what it's like being a full time streamer and where we've gone since Cross Assault. Circa eSports Signs Up Anakin

Circa eSports who you may be familiar with after their recent signings of LPN have come out to announce that they have now signed up Atlanta's own top Tekken player Anakin. This marks their first signings of a competitive Tekken player and this may mean that you can see Anakin at more events in the future. When he's not competing in tournaments, Anakin every now and then streams himself playing Tekken Tag Tournament 2 online on his Twitch channel and it makes for a good watch while Tekken 7 looms over the horizon. All the best goes out to the guy and his new future with Circa.

TEKKEN CRASH Set To Be Returning With TEKKEN 7

TEKKEN CRASH, the longstanding TV series based on competitive Tekken in Korea is set to return and is featuring TEKKEN 7 as the game! The news comes from the Korean gaming media which I'm citing through the site Korea Benchmark and there's some scarce details on the announcement. I can't really read Korean myself so I'll just have to settle with a Google Translate excerpt for now. If you know how to read it, feel free to contribute and I'll append this later.
