OzHadou Nationals 15 | Australian Fighting Game Tournament on September 15 - 17

The longest running Australian fighting game tournament event returns this weekend in the city of Sydney, Australia and it features Tekken 7 as part of the Tekken World Tour. OzHadou Nationals 15 sees almost 200 players entered for Tekken and marks the country's largest Tekken tournament to date. International Tekken players; Saint, Knee, Nobi, Yuu, Take and Kkokkoma have also confirmed their participation to OHN 2015 as they battle the best the region has to offer to try to take home points from the Tekken World Tour. The Tekken 7 tournament is being streamed live on twitch and it starts at 5 PM Pacific / 8 PM Eastern time on the Saturday with the tournament Top 8 taking place on Sunday 11 PM / 2 AM. Knee's Tekken 7 Tier List in Tournaments

Aaand here we have Knee's Tekken 7 tier list that is geared toward ranking characters in a console PS4 standard tournament format. Mishima characters, Leo and Xiaoyu move down in rankings while Jack-7 jumps right up to the top. It's important to note that while making this tier list in the video, Knee mentions multiple times throughout that the current PS4 input lag makes a big impact on how characters fare so that's why the disparity between his deathmatch and tournament lists. PS4/PC Tekken 7 World Character Usage & Rank Distribution Charts

Tekken 7 has been out for a few months now and the data is rolling in. Bloodywala on reddit has created charts using the data on the Tekken 7 leaderboards page to count every single player on there for the characters being used as well as the ranks earned. This data helps paint a picture of the characters and ranks a majority of the online Tekken player base have ended up with. All the data seen below account for players registered on the online leaderboards as of after August 30 so any of the players that have dropped off prior to the date aren't factored in.

Tekken World Tour Tokyo Masters Event on September 3

Join us in watching the Tokyo Tekken Masters event taking place in Akihabara's E-sports Square venue later today. This is the next MASTER titled event within the Tekken World Tour so there's big qualification points on the line for all the competitors participating. Since this tournament is taking place in the capital of Japan, you can expect a smorgasbord of great Tekken talent from the region with neighbouring players from Korea coming together for a big show. Like the previous TWT events, this will be streamed over on the official Tekken twitch channel with pools starting at 9 AM Japan time (5 PM PDT.) The tournament is expected to last a long duration of the day with Top 16 starting at 5 PM (1 AM PDT) and expected to finish in roughly 4 hours. PS4 Tekken 7 Version 1.05 Update Adds DLC Pack 1 Content & Further Online Adjustments

Yes, you can finally finish an online tournament in Tekken 7 without the entire thing being disbanded because the tournament host has rage quit. Tekken 7 PS4 Update number 1.05 is now available for download and should be soon-ish for Xbox One and Steam so download it to get the online match making adjustments as well as the support for the upcoming Ultimate Tekken Bowl Mode & Additional Costumes DLC coming to people who have purchased the Deluxe Edition of the game or the Season Pass.
