Soul Calibur: Lost Swords is Single-Player Only

Well this is one way it differentiates itself from Tekken Revolution, Soul Calibur: Lost Swords is apparently single player only according to Gamesradar. It seems that this title will in fact have no multiplayer whatsoever so it kinda shifts the perception on what kind of game this title might actually be. Other details apart from this point is that Siegfried and Mitsurugi are confirmed to be in the game, the game will monetise virtual items and that more information on it is to come at TGS. Soul Calibur: Lost Swords Announced, New Free-To-Play Game

Remember that trademark that was filed a bit back? Looks like it has finally unveiled itself as a new Free-to-play game coming for the PS3. This title looks to join Namco Bandai's series of Free-to-play games on the PS3 with Ace Combat: Infinity and Tekken Revolution. We'll have more details on the title as it rolls in.

TR - Summer Campaign Event, Kunimitsu & Devil Jin to be Added

Tekken Revolution's official website has just been updated to detail the new 'Summer Campaign' event that is upcoming for the free-to-play game. The site mentions that the Summer Campaign event will run from the 9th of August til the 20th of August and that logging into the game during this period will give you 100,000 in-game gold a day for each log-in. Alongside this, Devil Jin & Kunimitsu will also be added to the game's roster for players to unlock and play with as well as double the experience points to be earned If you are under level 20. Lastly, when using a premium ticket in online vs modes, you will receive 5 times the amount of Gift points to help you unlock characters faster. Times are in JST so you can try logging in tomorrow to participate in this campaign.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Global Championship '13 Set for October 26th!

The Tekken Global Championship '13 event is set for the October 26th this year according to a recent update to the Tekken-NET website. For those of you who are unaware, this tournament is a major gathering of tekken talent across the globe with numerous qualifiers in different regions to select representatives to be sent to represent their country in a tournament in South Korea. The website also mentions that the total prize money for winning the tournament includes $10,000 and that CafeId is sponsoring this event and will be broadcasting it.
