Tekken 7 - New Gameplay Images of Shaheen
Courtesy of Famitsu! Shaheen's gameplay style is considered 'unique' on the Famitsu page. He has something similiar to a Mist Step which is done by pressing d/f, d/f which will make Shaheen go go low like a tackle stance and move towards the opponent. If you collide with the opponent, Shaheen will transition to a throw attack. Lucky Chloe's gameplay concept is based around being flashy and a sense of rhythm to her inputs. Her stronger attacks will require timed input presses to successfully perform in which case, she gets more flashy by doing more kinds of twirls and flips. You can expect to see both of these new characters in action at this weekend's Japan Amusement Expo.

Badass~
If none of the fatties get into the game, I'm picking him up as well as chloe.
Nice! We need a video now!
Lucky Chloe's rhythm based inputs sound pretty neat.
i have a feeling that he has raven moves
#Recluse
Same here. And I think Lucky Chloe has some of Creddys moves (Christie and Eddy)
Katarina has Lee's and Anna's
Claudio has some of Miguel's
and Shaheen has Ravens
JF moves confirmed for Rucky Chroe?
@Yoshimitsu Lover <3:
I still haven't seen any of Annas moves in Katarina and Miguels moves in Claudio? I do see the resemblance in the way Miguel and Claudio move...
Shaheen looks better in action then I expected tbh. It would be fun if we all expected Lucky "anal" Chloe to be a scrub character based on her looks and she turned out to be hella just frame and the likes. I always just thought she was basically an Eileen ripoff combined with Cappos.
Still hoping that you can totally change apparence easily from weeboo with costumes. Tbh if Chloe's costumes was something like her third alternate nobody would care as much. They fucked up. People expect third outfits to be crazy (who cared about Anna's octapus outfit?). People expect the costumizations to be crazy. But it's something sort of holy regarding the 1p and 2p default outfit and a line you don't cross (not even Panda or Roger does) that Namco just didn't understand I guess.
Looked at the images again and you guys are totally right; that looks like Raven moves hands down.
Maybe it's a good idea to narrow down the cast by combining the gameplay of two characters into a new container? People who are fond of a certain playstyle can still easily transition to the new character and feel less grief their character is dead / missing. We all knew they had to cut the roster in half or something drastic from the get-go.
They didn't fuck up, they went exactly for that kind of look with Chloe. She's not intended for you, but people who appreciate that kind of character. Personally, I love her design, and I'll use her a lot.
You can change her costume or Shaheen's with customization, as I plan to do too. (He looks cool, I wanna see him without the turban).
I guess I should play Project Diva F to prepare myself for playing Lucky Chloe huh?
I meant they fucked up with what they thought the response would be like. I recall JDCR and Saint saying the reception over there for her wasn't that great either (contrary to Harada's words).
From Wonkey's twitter:
"Shaheen has something similiar of a Mist Step which is done by pressing d/f, d/f. He gets really low and it looks like a tackle animation"
"But if you collide with the opponent with it, Shaheen will do a 'throw attack' after it."
Why Namco is using the old Assasins Creed model of Shaheen? I dont get it. Or this is the 2p costume? I wonder if Lucky Chloe will turned out to be like Gen of Street Fighter? Gen is almost impossible. If Lucky Chloe have a 2p alternative costume like what the tekken team done in the past. But Namco is too lazy for that
