Great podcast! Aris hit the nail on the head. Its not that people never did this in fighters before. In sf2 back in the 90s (&2000s... Cause there were alot of releases) throws were considered cheap! We are just seeing it up close now because of online gaming. People like to b!tch and complain about everything calling it spam. Its a scrub's paradise out there, that's just how it is. Rip needs to develop thicker skin. People will hate on you, just ignore them and do your own thing.
I watched that first to 5 with TMM, and yeah RIP was playing like an asshole for a 1 bar connection. You could tell mainmain was having alot of issues with defense and execution he was dropping combos solely cause of the lag. Rips answer was to spam the fuck out of slide which is pretty hard to have an answer for in those conditions. I can see why the casuals were so pissed about it. I wouldnt have even bothered 1 bar tekken is not even tekken.
