Only Devil JIn, Kazuya and Heihachi and Angel are Mishimas style. I wish peopel would stop lumping Jin, Jinpachi and lars in their game-play is nothing similar.
@devil kazuya the video is based off the blood line not just the mishima style
Perfect example of the tekken community. Someone releases a work of art like this and the first thing someone posts is a complaint.
@truedog
Thats because combo videos used to be innovative once upon a time. They used to be full of wonderful ideas which would help improve gameplay and innovate and maybe even optimize juggles and stuff. Now a days they are just some situational crazy things that can never be done in a real match. I mean I get it, its hard and even fun to watch sometimes, but all they have become these days is just a bunch of tricks. There used to be a time when combo videos were done on regular characters most of the time, and the things done in them were actually worth learning, now its plainly a bag of situational tricks. Seeing combo videos has become a waste of time, if you ask me.
Oh yea....well....Damn....your right.....they died out like the old faqs.....I used to have a few under the name skreezyg like a anti-10-hit faqs and a tekken 3 heihachi one.....the good ol days are gone....hell i used to work in a arcade now its something ill tell stories about to my grandkids ......like a useful combo video.
I don't know what you guys are smoking wanting combovideos that are BnB material and not situational and/or caring at all about "mishima style" (thanks C.Bear) I mean jesus christ.
Hey, what have YOU guys contributed to the community with? Where are your "non situational" combo videos and who the fuck are you to tell a combovideomaker who he can't make combos with and/or what he should/shouldn't include? Adrian is not getting payed to do these and ultimately it's for his own enjoyment. At the tops it's to inspire people and guess what, 10k subscribers to his YT channel sort of paint a picture of success on his part.
I enjoyed the video.
Fortsätt göra dina videos och låt inte negativa Tomtar påverka dig Mannen

Reality....your post just seems confrontational. I called this a work of art and said stop being negative, but i think you can agree with some of what because posted. No one said they want bread and butter videos, thats rediculous. Seems no one around here can have a conversation only argue.
It is confrontational and pissed, agreed. Most of it stems from frustration to what the tekken community is seemingly becoming. It's probably the most negative community in the FGC at this point where people are much quicker to throw shit like that then praise. In a community that hardly shares any tech and that has a dead main site (TZ) the last thing people should jump on are people producing content like YT videos or giving combosuggestions. If you want to bring a point forward you could at the very least, prior to this, comment on the actual content.
I can't agree about what the points that have been brought forward though.
Point 1) "They aren't all using the mishima style!"
This video is posted and presented with "The last tribute by me (TMM) to the TTT2 Mishimas." To me it's clear that what TMM is doing here is making a last tribute video where he's collecting random things and doing a send off with certain characters. Who cares who he lumps together? These are popular characters and team compositions. As the saying goes; "Lars goes with everyone". He's done tons of prior mishima combovideos for TT2. Hell even to revolution recently. To believe that he doesn't understand the difference between what a 'true mishima' is and the newcomers like Lars without wavedash etc is plain dumb. This guy has probably the most mishima knowledge in the entire western hemisphere (who else?). Besides that, you would think "strength in blood" as the title would sort of be a clue that this is about the mishima BLOODLINE and not the mishima FIGHTING STYLE. Where has he made an error exactly?
Point 2) "These combos aren't practical!"
It's not up to a combovideomaker to make BnB combovideos. If you want those go to TZ and look through threads or search for that very thing. Combovideomakers have ALWAYS been about pushing the system in modern times. Besides that; there are TONS of things in this that should inspire and can be taken away from this, in a practical way, by most people who play mishimas. For instance maximizing combos through floorbreaking, what to do after a balcony break etc etc. If you want combovideos to be more practical that's also a subjective matter on your part. If a combovideomaker were to state that the videos presented actually were practical would be a totally different beast.
I appologize for being rude, long day.
I never agreed with point 1.
Point 2 agreed . No one said they want bread and butter videos, thats rediculous. Repeated for the 2nd time. I see why no one wastes there time to post anymore.
Still I don't understand his Angel hate.
@reality
@aris
And probably everyone else.
I am not saying I want bnb combos. I am saying I want practical innovation, nina's isw1 was practical innovation, the gut punch pewgf was practical innovation. Now these things are very plain, but I am just making a point. What the combo makers today do is what I like to call the modern art of tekken. Yes modern art is intellectual and good to look at, but it can't beat the classics. The classics require a greater understanding of the art itself and most of the times a far better base. So, I respect all of the combo makers and players today, but there is tons of shit that can be made into videos like tech traps, wake up traps, enders and fillers that are more damaging or just better for continuity and pressure, some of these can be difficult too, and thus may not have been found out. I think such things should be made, if we want to save tekken. I respect and admire tmm like most of the community, but come one, he is all theory. His practical knowledge of gameplay, as in human on human high level play, is not as much. His tutorials foe example are not up to the mark. Have you seen aris's character tutorials? I mean for the first time in my life I was seriously impressed. Thats how deep tekken is and thats how far you have to go, to make the tutorial effective. Any player no matter how low or high can benefit by that tutorial. Has anyone of you ever thought why the tekken community always suffers no matter what these days, and now gaming actually has way better base. But still, it suffers, tekken is a game which has the capability of being out there with sc and other shit, thats how good and deep it is, but its not, thats because of availability issues AND HOW DIFFICULT IT IS. People should try making tekken easier for beginners. Like teaching them what to learn first, how to learn it,, how to hold a stick, character specific. Or mind tricks into making executions easier. That will drastically increase the amount of players and the general level too. At every tournament where korea beats america, rip has an excuse foe why? He says its their movement, well has anyone ever cracked their movement, as in why or how they do what they do? And how to make it easier for everyone else? Well I have, and even if don't have all the answers I have far more answers then what there are on the internet, and I am bloody sure, many of the mid to high level players can seriously benefit from those. The thing si I don't have the equipment, or skills to make a good tutorial. Believe I have tried, and there is really stuff that I want out there, which I know. @reality Now, who am I, I am a player, just anonymous right now, but I have heard from the most credible sources out there that I am very good. So, no one asked for bnb's just some useful stuff every once in a while.
i am surprised people are not pleased with todays combo videos, i mean i know todays combos are not practical, but remember this is a complete new level, look at what people can pull out these days, their skills has reached a level what u can call the godly skills, back in T5 days the cmvs were good but the amount of skills used in those days are nothing compared to the amount of skills used today. They are the beginners compared to todays artists. most of the sick stuff done in those days were made by a programmable stick, and nowadays u will see a 20 second combo done by hand with an arcade stick or DPAD. In my opinion they deserve a Tekken Medal!
Peace
