A new online 32 man TTT2 League has been set up by the famed combo video creating team: Perfect Input. They've set up a new website which details the entire format of the competition and will also soon house updates, commentary, archive footage, player interviews, highlights and much more. The site is now live and a twitter account (@TekkenRiot) has been set up which should keep you updated on the event. I've added the description from the website which you can use to get more information out of the 32 man league below.

WHAT IS TEKKEN R.I.O.T?!?
The short answer: the Real Insanity of Online Tekken
The proper description: Real. Insane. Online. Teams!!!
When it comes to competitive Tekken in the United States, the competition is so spread out that players are finding it hard to travel and play solid competition on a regular basis. It becomes expensive and time consuming. Players travel when they can, but numbers aren’t very high as far as turnouts at major events. This could be a reason why TTT2 online has grown significantly over the last year. Those who can’t participate in many offline events have grown accustomed to the competition online.
Following in the steps of the highly popular Iron Fist League online tournament, Team Perfect Input wants to take a chance on the online community and give them an opportunity to take the spotlight just like their offline counterparts. Tekken RIOT is a new online league open to players on the east coast and parts of the Midwest. This will be a team based league, allowing up to 32 players the ability to compete in an insane online battle arena.
8 total teams consisting of 4 players each will participate in 2 conferences, battling each week in a round robin format. At the end of the season, the team in each conference with the best record will battle it out in the Tekken RIOT championship match for the crown of the most INSANE ONLINE TEKKEN TEAM!!
4 qualifying tournaments will be held to select team captains. These tournaments will be open to anyone and everyone within the league regional parameters (East Coast/Parts of Midwest). The top 2 placing individuals within each of the qualifiers will be given a spot as captain. Once all of the captains have been decided, teams will be chosen.
Team selection will be done in similar fashion to a sports draft. Any player within the regional parameters may register to be included into the draft. Captains will select their players one by one within 4 draft rounds until all 8 teams are filled. Players will then submit their team names and the regular season of the Tekken RIOT league will begin shortly after everything has been finalized.
Perfect Input will provide opportunities for stream time, commentary, replays and highlights from the weekly insanity.
Get ready for the next battle!! Tekken R.I.O.T. will be nothing short of fun, crazy, and insane!!
More details will be revealed as time progresses along with stream archive videos, match analyses, player interviews, and much much more!

Without any sort of legit prize or incentive you will find it very heard to get people to be reliable for something like this and for people to take it seriously. Same thing has happened in other online tournaments.
"Details to come ". Most sponsors look for legit work and effort before throwing out prizes and such. We'll keep you posted on those ZTS.
Very big thank you ATP!!!!
ZTS - Full information is not complete yet. Also, IFL went very very well with minimal prizes except for entry to tournaments. People just want to play. Thanks for the interest, but please check the negativity at the door. We're trying to keep this positive. Thanks! Hope to see you enter!
ATP!!! Thanks for the post!
I'm not being negative I'm being honest. The last two online Tekken tournaments I can recall both were a mess, LordSavior's and DojoSports. I wish you luck and am interested but you must be aware that it's not as easy as it looks or sounds. Just make sure you put a lot of thought into how you are going to avoid the problems other organizers have run into in the past. Find a way to hold people accountable.
BTW just realized heard instead of hard on that first post. How the hell did that even happen? lol
I think they have thought it out a bit, or else they would not attempt this. There is more to playing than just prizes.
