Mad Catz Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Fight Stick TE-S+
BY Aris ON Monday, September 3, 2012 at 11:09AM
Mad Catz has unveiled their first official Tekken arcade stick. The Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Fight Stick TE-S+ is a combination of the original TE-S, and the Round 1, with a non slip bottom and the noir layout. The PS3 version has a yellow ball top and buttons, paying homage to one of the most legendary sticks of all time, The Hori Namco Stick. Check out the images below.

I'm digging the Female art panel, I might have to get saving!
Markman stated on the tekken zaibatsu post that this stick will be going for 159.99USD.
do the sticks really cost that much to make?, i mean back in the day when they were likely to sell far less units the sticks only cost $60 max.
i've got a namco stick that's 12 years old that i got for $20 and it still works fine.
@ShinJin
These sticks have a way higher quality to them. That old namco stick if Im not mistaken is just cheap plastic. I got me one of those too. It broke within months and I had to replace buttons etc. But not just that, the material, the extras, non-slip bottoms...all that stuff is worth the money. Taken totally aside that the "expensive" sticks feel alot better and are more precise when it comes to execution - which is kinda important in tekken.
10 Button and 1 Stick from SANWA costs like 60 bucks so of course these sticks cost a big doller total
Nice to pay tribute to the legendary Namco Arcade Stick!! (and ironic that it's made by MadKatz when the original was made by Hori)
The quality old Namco Arcade Stick isn't too great by today's standard, but was head and shoulders above everything else at its time. Housing was very solid, the stick was ok (though it's no Sanwa), although the buttons do feel very cheap and the PCB was stuck to the buttons.
I actually bought another one recently as the form factor is ideal for me (small enough to easily fit in my bag whilst still leaving room for lots of stuff, and very light!), although I know the larger sticks are more stable and easier to handle for most players (which is why HRAP and TE are so popular).
With small sticks, you need to be quite gentle to make sure they don't move around too much.
