Hmm.. well this sounds good and all, but when they say that World Tekken Federation is a 'Premium Service', does it mean we have to pay a monthly fee or something??

Tekken Online play has always been garbage. It will probably always be garbage. It will NEVER be able to match the offline experience. Its fun to play online sure but only casually. 95% of online players would get shit on if they tried to enter a major tournament. If you want real highly competitive Tekken stick to offline.

Looks improved. I hope they do not play music while it is searching for the next opponent. The music in the online menus of Tekken 6 BR drove me crazy. Try listening to the same song every day for 3 years non stop. It is not much fun.

Why is Armor King listed as "Amakin" or is that a new character hint????

The "premium" part of the service may relate to the mobile device integration feature. Nothing in the official press release indicated a dollar amount for anything. Your piggy banks are most likely safe, kids.

Still... tracked metrics relating to play behavior and other variables would be incredibly useful, and the underlying network infrastructure to run the thing probably cost a shitload of dough if it proves to be reliable. Think bandwidth, space to store matches, etc. If there is some sort of fee, it should be okay as long as it's not some monthly subscription thing.

Think of the new possibilities for forum shit-talking! Now when online warriors need to prove their superiority, they'll be able to link everyone to their WTF stat page!

"What are you waiting for?"
For the fucking game to come out, dumbass.

If the Online is anything like the last game this is a waste of time. Hell even if it is as good as SCIV it is still a waste of time because that style of online just won't work for this game. Apples and oranges. I am hopeful but pessimistic...

Hey Harada i have an idea with ranked matches the server should just automatically match you with the next ranked match without you pressing any buttons you stick with the same character if you want to change charcters or stop hit circle whislt it preparing the next match .The server should match you first according to the rank so you fight someone close to your rank and not some noob and second it should find the best possible connection four bars at least, this should happen automatically after choosing your character the stage should be random select and this will stop the boosting as you will be matched with random opponents
