BLAHBLAHBLAH; I'm not in particulary happy with Aris week on cross assault either. But a comment section for an article is a comment section for an article. You're off topic. Off topic (and one could argue spam) in general in threads do get deleted that's the way of life so don't cry Martyr. I hope more VF chars gets announced. Also; to the guy who said that guest characters are about games dying you're dead wrong. For instance in UMVC3 Marvel specifically pushed towards certain characters (like Hawkeye) to promote the avengers movie. The game that has had most cross titles of all time is SF and if that's not a popular fightinggame I don't know what is. I think DOA looks great. Just hope it plays as well. It must be the most eyepleasing thing for newcomers to look at always. If you look at a fightscene in a movie there is often more dynamic elements going on in the background to bring a more sense of urgency or timecrisis (even if it's Jackie chan fighting ontop of a buss while signs pass) etc; it's a scene built. DOA and the way they incorporate this now in the background is finally taking this to the videogame level.

I think a new DOA will sell good regardless of guests. Besides the hardcore fans of the series many people had a lot of fun with the game on DC and Xbox to warrant another purchase.
I will probably buy to play with my brother who does not like FG very much. Even a mediocre fighting game has more replay value then most AAA titles.
