Why is audio is so fucking mono-retarded? Aris in the left headphone and Brad with Bronson in the right? Tight.

Hi all! This podcast is nice in covering your opinions on the game. I think if you look at the tier list, more than half of the total characters are "C" or below. This is really limiting who the players can choose to be competitive. Add to that, the system mechanics aren't easy in TTT2. Add to that, dumping about 60 characters to the game, all of which we must learn in order to master the game.. These are probably the reasons it's not selling well. Personally, I love all tekken games and enjoy them all. I just think they should have started a new franchise.

Lol, Bronson has no idea of how lame he made that NorCal player sound. Who the fuck brags about losing to someone who sucked at Tekken 6? My money is on Rickstah if they have a rematch.

Nice podcast with lots of bromance going on. I think you however probably should mix the audiochannels into mono as someone said it's pretty annoying at first with you in left and them in right. Got used to it (sort of) after a while though.

Keep up the good work Soldier

1. Far too much credence is given to tier lists.

2. The complexity of Tekken is exaggerated, just as the complexity of Virtua Fighter is exaggerated (there are only three buttons, after all). Yes, there are lots of moves, but many are situational and I think most people rely on less than half of the moves in their chosen character's move list; this is because some attacks and maneuvers are superior to others in terms of general utility.

3. If tier lists are so important to competition, you really only need to learn a dozen or fewer characters, since those characters are they only ones used in competition.

Additionally if most character's are in C tier guess what. This mean's the game is relatively balanced...

The Mishima's maybe top of the game. Good luck getting anywhere near the skill level required to see it. Most people will be better off sticking to one of those C tier character's. Stop taking tier list's as gospel...

As mentioned in this podcast, you won't see Mishima's who are the best in this game winning tournament's. (in america)
I am glad they are top, they are difficult to play and I believe top tier's should be. You should have to work for that reward.
This is balance....

You people complaining about this game really just need to go play something else, or hopefully just man the fuck up and enjoy it for what it is. The best fighting game.

And fucking hail the return of the podcast. Awesome stuff, and welcome back slip's to the real deal after the broken as fuck (but fun) MK9.

Lol's at the hate for bronson....

@Miga-Oh

Yeah I totally agree with you on all accounts. I think a lot of newer players trying to get better at the game have the mentality that they must know how to defend against / punish everything. I feel like what should be stressed more is the ability to adapt to playstyles. Also, smart offense is often overlooked.

@Miga-oh, @Tekken fan

Flying Wonkey recently translated a current japanese character ranking from 2ch and posted it on TZ:
http://www.tekkenzaibatsu.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=4593169#post4593169

as you can seen, most of the characters are listed under B ranking or above. NOT a C. So just play the game and pick who you want. everyone is more or less viable
