Now that the location test for TTT2 has come to an end, I thought I would share some of my opinions on the game itself. I, along with the rest of the SoCal Tekken community am very grateful to Namco for giving Super Arcade the opportunity to play this game. I also hope that they eventually decide to release the arcade version in the US. That being said, hopefully you find this video interesting to some degree. Please subscribe to our Youtube channel and thank you for your continued support.

but as people keep pointing out a very strong comprehensive practice mode can make the game good in combination with netcode improvement
Aris, I agree with a lot of what you said, I especially relate with 9:15 - 20:28, as I am one of those guys. Juggle damage, ridiculous wall carry, stunted movement and to a lesser extent, the crush system have been the bane of T6-TTT2 IMO. The undermining of the ground game is just ridiculous and I want to know what Harada and his team have been smoking at Namco HQ.
After watching your review, I came upon this video:

Look at 0:42-1:34. Were you right on the money or what? Real life example of what you said at 11:39-12:15.
Namco should really read your comments, post them on Harada's FB or something :)
I agree with about everything you said. I come from the tekken 3 era and had to miss tekken tag, 4, and 5,dr because of university and internships. I came back when I could afford a ps3 and a tv. Virtually no arcades in india have tekken. It was great to come back but virtually everything I had learned in t3 was useless now. Well, tough tomatoes, I thought to myself and started lurking tz again to learn kazuya. But I couldnt get any friends to join me because lets face it, you have to have a masochist streak somewhere to spar endlessly in a deep game like tekken only to realize that you have a basic flaw in tour movement technique and need.to spend a few hours in practice mode to fix it. But enough of my cribbing.
But I think we could look at this way :
1 tekken needs a major overhaul
2 information needed to be memorized/imbibed needs to be reduced to a manageable size
3 a simple mechanic needs to be introduced so that the transition from scrub to beginner is quicker
With all due respect to the geniuses at namco I think the community is the best place to come up with some solutions. A community project involving some of the top players plus some entry level tekken players could be initiated on tz, atp, luyg or wherever and we could probably send over a suggestion box to Harada and his gang to take a look at. There are some scientific brainstorming techniques we use for improving our robotics/AI Products where I work. No reason we cant apply the same to tekken as critics and lovers of the game. Just my two cents worth. I must return to bdc practice.
