Episode 2 is up. I haven't watched it yet but lets try to get 70 comments on this one again. I'll start the convo off with online Tekken is not Tekken. Discuss.
CauselessRebel pretty much summed up what I was trying to say in the nicest way possible I respect That last post so much because I think that's what offline players overlook about online players if we could we would gladly play offline but we don't have that oppurtunity. I've tried multiple times to start a scene where I live but everyone is so focused on SSF4/MVC3 that no one wants to come out to a tekken gathering. Online is virtually where my scene is ATM with occasional offline sets that are few and far between. All I'm saying is quit looking down on online players as not being real players. Gootecks and Mike Ross may troll people, but hell at least they're trying to reach out to players online, through the rise of the web warrior tournament. To sponsor a player to cali for Bar Fights. Maybe the Tekken community needs to take notes and do something to reach out to players that are really grinding it out online just a thought signed ~`the fallen will rise`~
Hey linux great job posting my bro playing marduk under my PSN. Hes 14 and is just starting to play. As you can see he needs work. You gotta crawl bfore you walk right? Anyone who knows me knows I play dragunov and Raven. Plz go find something else to do. Thats pretty low man, degrading someone else. That explains the way you carry yourself. Maybey this will remind you........www.youtube.com/watch?v=qR5qv2tcQ4k
Glad You think I play Bryan as a main funny I was expecting you to post that vid of me when I was just learning the character .but ignorance is bliss on this post I suppose
I never said Bryan was your main. You know you talk alot of shit for a 19 year old. Never assume unless you know true facts. And as for you saying Fab not knowing me. I acually met Fab once at Chinatown fair back in the DR days. Nice guy. now its Next level in BK......but instead of us disagreeing with each other. Why not call a truce?
@ InfamousMinded why wouldn't your brother make his own account. My brothers 9 an he's smart enough to make his own. You can't say you know Fab just because you met him once for like 10 minutes or had a couple matches if that's the case iv met a whole boatload of people. But point is. Your argument about online is a trash one. You play online so why are you bashing it. Just because Aris said it is? The only reason you tardos bash online is because there's "lag" big whoop. Get a real excuse or better yet turn your head an hop on some offliners Dick so we can have our fun without you wannabe "community/scene" lovers trying to ruin the party. It's gonna suck when the arcades go outta business an your forced to play online or travel to play a few games. Sounds like a waste of money to me. It's 2011 live with the convenients or shut up. I swear were no better then the smash community. We might as well sandbag split pots an ban characters
I havent played online in a long time. Theres no point to play online bc I have an arcade thats near me. You saying arcades going out of buissness is a puss move. Thats something that I hope does not happen. But obviously you do. BTW who the hell are you I wasny even talking to you. This arguing needs to stop.
I love how Aris is trolling his own comment section. But, anyways, i agree with watafags comment on the first page. that should be everyone's commandments to playing T6 online. when i play online, thats how i do it, and i promise you that you wont feel impaired. And try not to take it too seriously. Ask that one guy who won that European tourny a while ago; i think his name was killadoll or something. he said that his main way of leveling up us online. So online Tekken is real Tekken. you just have to be smart about it and not bitch too much. just a bit will do.

May I ask, has anyone ever confirmed they've punished a hopkick online?

But that's not King's best punisher for a hopkick. I believe it's b+1,2. Can you consistently punish hopkicks with it?
Or maybe you can try Lars f+2,4 or Jin's 1+2. Because it would certainly suck if you can't punish hopkicks with the best punisher. You could have splat someone to the wall after a blocked hopkick but you can't because of lag. In this game, punishing hopkicks with the best punisher is of utmost importance to discourage your opponent from abusing it.
Na I cant punish hopkicks with b+1,2, though i havent really tested it enough. 1,2 or 2,1 is safe and guaranteed 4 sure which is better than no punish

@Noobkiller: How fast is your internet connection? Not the download speed, I'm talking about upload speed and ping rates (speedtest.net?). Sorry I'm just curious. I wanna know the optimal speed that you need to make online Tekken, well, tolerable.
Any way you play Tekken is Tekken. It's just that different ways provide different experiences ie. Practising juggles in Practice Mode is still playing Tekken. Anyone who disagrees is just arguing semantics and being arrogant and/or missing the point entirely.
