high tier characters or not, the actual skill level of tekken in america is higher than it is here in london. period

You assume that tiers didn't exist at console releasedate or that characters like Bob wasn't top pre BR now in t6.0? Or are you talking about people using Bob in T5 or something? Fab doesn't even try Miguel on a competetive level. Crow used steve lars and now Bob - no Sir he's definatly not looking at tiers; random occurance right? Tokido 100% took up Bob cause his easy of use while still being competetive; tekken isn't even his main game. Infact in top 8 probably 4 players don't even main tekken anymore: Naps (Emphy in SF), RH, Tokido and Fab (plays MVC3 - looked like he wanted to shoot himself when having to go back to a Bob mirror). So to say that there isn't a problem with US Tekken or that the finals aren't tierwhoring - get your facts straight.
