TTT2 Location Test Videos
BY Aris ON Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 2:06AM
A couple vids have been uploaded of the latest version of TTT2. It looks like they have added new effects for Netsu activation as well as new flashing life bars. I'm not sure what all of it means though. Thanks to akaronin for the uploads.

Yes. New effects for the flu.
http://www.youtube.com/user/ilexagere has some too. They sound french?
Not allowing a US to even get a machine no matter what we are willing to do is unacceptable in my opinion. I just cannot accept the "network" excuse as valid. I have no sympathy for them not being able to huck their "premium" cabinet. Regardless of the negative effects it could potentially have on them, them turning their back on a whole nation of players is a far worse alternative.
I feel like in the first video both Bob and Feng are way bigger than they used to be. Bob seems to tower over kazuya in a way I don't remember him doing. And feng used to be tiny. Is this just me?
changes look good, but who gives a shit. if this game isnt coming stateside, then no point in getting hopes up. fucking namco.
@andrew
totally agree
namco really fucked up with the rest of the world
i am from germany play tekken since tekken 1 and the mentality of the asia game market is very unfriendly
look t6 its out on consoles so long ago and they still play it in the arcade
i am so hoping the console version will not 1-2 years far away after arcade release with a stupid campaign ...
(give a cool challenge mode AND a great practice mode its so hard to learn for newcomer if they not do that)
i know if ttt2 hits the arcade there will be patches BUT it also works well for consoles look at sf4,mk,mvc3 ...
@WCMaxi
Wait, netsu means flu? That's tight as hell!
@Roy: It just the angle of the camera. Look at the actual monitor, the right looks bigger because it's closer to the camera. As such, the character on the 2P side will look bigger than they are.
The white flash is probably that new combo breaker they are testing out.
I like they have that flash out for life when using tag assault
@st9389: where did you see that flash?
Jake
I was pointing out that the old TTT was also NOT Netsu. TZ just mistranslated it as such and people never thought to check. TTT2's will likely be called Rage (just like T6).
I'd translate ikari, which netsu was really called in ttt, as anger, but rage works as well.
@ st9389
I don't think the white flash has anything to do with combo breakers. It's seems as though it accompanies a few moves as well as replaces the white contour that signified which character was active during tag assault.
Hopefully, the developers are wise enough to never implement a combo breaker system in this game.
If the white flash is replacing the white outline/contour, I'd rather have the contour. The flash is a bit much for me.
Grey flash isn't for when rage ends?
@ deathbybears
Yeah; I think the flash may be a little too much.
noodalls is right; There does seem to be a flash to signify when rage ends. I think there may also be a red one that signifies when it begins. I was mistaken and thought it just accompanied a few moves.
As you said, there may be too many flashes in there now.
I see it now. Blue flash occurs during tag assault. A red flash occurs with the hit that puts a character into rage and a white/grey flash occurs once the character exits rage. These are three pretty major things to keep track of I think. The developers want to make sure you're aware of these situations. I guess the flashes are more helpful than cluttering; There function makes them more tolerable. I think it's a good idea.
