Rip and I quickly go over some of the changes we noticed for our characters in the build of TTT2 that was at E3. Check out LUYG's Youtube channel HERE.
Hey Aris, I read on Zaibatsu that TTT2 wont get an arcade release in Europe or America so does that make all this moot! I adore the franchise but my gamerbase does Tekken once a fortnight which leaves me with online or ghostbattles. I still play on thinking with all the attention Harada and Murray has been giving the west lately, Namco are including us. As I said I adore the franchise but I don't think i'll have that enthusiasm 2 years down the line when we get a console release. Did you speak to Murray or Harada about any of this?
PS. Good work on the footage I had some questions but can't help thinking, whats the point now.
What are you talking about, man?? TTT2 machines are coming to America. There are a total og 6 machines coming to the USA. That's well known fact. (I think..)
Yeah Aris, I made a thread on TZ regarding the strange property of tag assaults, how it damages your own character by wiping out ALL of the character's red life. But the thread got wiped out, too!! ^.^ Tag assaults will be useless except at the start of a round. Unless you want to get a shitload of damage done to yourself! I saw this WEEKS AGO. Everyone seems to like the idea! WTF.
@Forest: Ugh, it brings more strategy into the game. Not to mention not every move you can juggle after will let you switch characters mid-juggle unless you do a tag assault later on, such as Ling's CH4~3 for example.
Losing red health isn't even a very big nerf unless you're almost about to die, in which case... yeah, maybe doing it isn't the best idea unless it's certain to kill the other guy. That is why you alternate between your juggles, giving the game more variation. How is that a bad thing?
I posted this in the luyg site but not that much traffic compared to here.
i have a question about tag assault in general. Did they change anything from the way it worked from the demo at MLG last year? When they showed the wall combo of jin and paul. Jin was charging his unblockable while paul was still comboing him. Does this still work in the current build? Or did they change it so that the other character have to wait for the point character to finish their move first before he/she can do another move?
for example. for a chreddy team. would B!~5 d2,3~5 b3+4 work? lets say eddy starts the juggle and tag assaults christie in for her to do d2,3.. WHILE shes doing d2,3, eddy tags back in and does b3+4. since d2,3 spikes them to the ground.. would a correctly timed b3+4 hit 100%dmg?

Good to watch people playing the game a lil better. That Lili/DJ tag air laser combo was badass.
@Dr, I wouldn't call it a fact. I'll cover this stuff on the next podcast which will be out after this weekend.
^ D'oh!
Yo Aris-- I saw this on Harada's twitter:
"Probably next year. RT @leggendary92 Mr Harada, when the game( Tekken Tag 2) should come out on consoles?."
Am I reading this right?
Wow Dragunov looks good! Good stuff.
