Open Invitation To Tekken Crash

Last season it was Rip, Fab, and Anakin. Who will it be this season? MBC Game, the studio responsible for the hit Korean Tekken show, Tekken Crash, Is having an open invitational to all top players around the world. This season's Royal Rumble is quickly approaching. Think you got what it takes to hang with the best in Korea? For more information check out ldMaxi's post on TekkenZaibatsu.

"Tekken Crash S7 Royal Rumble will happen either the 11th or 18th of June. The date has not been 100% set yet but it is now confirmed the event will take place. If one of you can't come the 11th we can get the 18th, I'm sure. The format has changed and will now be a region team battle, not yet decided if it'll be a 3 on 3 or 5 on 5 or something else.

In other words, we'll see something like a Seoul dream team VS Daegu dream team. And MBC would like a sort of World team to attend if possible.

They have asked me to gather interest from the international players. MBC cannot help out economically in anyway, but I will personally help you as much as possible with finding housing and all that kinda stuff. Royal Rumble has been a kind of best of the best singles tournament in the past. It is very hard even for the koreans to qualify, for this reason MBC cannot accept anyone to participate. But if you have won a big tournament or regularly place well I'm sure you'll get an OK to enter."

I can't wait to see who makes it out there from the US. Are you gonna try to go, Aris?

@dijon, I would love to but I don't have the time or money right now. One of these days I will definitely make it out to Korea.

Either pay out of pocket and/or try to do a fundraising for the US Tekken players. If we can raise funds to bring Rain over, I don't see how we can't do the same for our own people.

Aris: Why don't you try getting sponsored?

@AAK, that is not the primary problem. I simply don't have the time right now with school and E3 around the corner.

I for one think the plastic beach chairs are a nice touch of elegance.
