Mortal Kombat PDP National Tournament Results

There are two things that made this tournament particularly interesting. The fact that all the players were restricted to playing on the putrid PDP arcade stick, and the fact that they were all forced to play on the original, unpatched version of Mortal Kombat. Despite these odd stipulations, this was easily one of the smoothest and most professionally streamed tournaments I have ever watched. Spooky has truly out done himself as I was thoroughly entertained the entire time. The highlight of the tournament for me was when Justin's PDP arcade stick failed mid match. PDP did an excellent job of making their arcade stick look like a large curly turd. Congrats to all the top placers. I hope MK can be patched well enough to allow it to be played at a high level for years to come.

1. Justin - $10,000
2. Floe - $4,500
3. LI Joe - $2,500
4. Fubarduck - $1,500
5. Perfect Legend - $750
6. Trophy Club - $750
7. Michelangelo - $500
8. Ike S. - $500

I was rooting for JOP and Markman.

Best moment of the tournament (besides the stick incident) was definitely LI Joe's Kung Lao mirror comeback against Perfect Legend, so awesome.

The patch changes had better be drastic, cause this tourny, despite top plays from all the players there, made the game look bad. very spamming, quite dull and OMG DAT SPIN. nuff said, suprised didnt see more Lui Kung
