Nice. I'm guessing that this is the early stages of Kaz transforming, probably the 3d model of devil isnt done yet or they havent programmed it fully just to test if the transformation is working (A debug). You think that this is necessary in a battle? Will a player even get time to do this? I think a seperate character slot. But maybe the Tekken team will feel whats the point if Kaz and devil will have the same moves set. If thats the case, why not change up devil moves set and base it on his abilities as a Beast/Devil? This is something the tekken team have to sort out, if Devil Kaz does get a character slot, they SHOULD mix some things up instead of having a clone, example, Eddy & Christie.
I think this should also happen to Eddy and Christie. A valid reason is, Christie is a female capoeira fighter, therefore half of her moves should be different from eddy. Should it be short quicker moves? Do you Aris, think, that a female capoeira fighter can execute the same exact moves at same speed and distance as a male capoeira fighter? I feel not. The Tekken team has to do something about making both of them different, otherwise whats the point of one of them. Look how Hwoarang and Beak have the same style (Tae-kwon-do) but different moves set based on Beak being a ' Experienced Master' and Hwoarang being a 'Young Student', now is my point valid enough? Please I would like to hearwhat you feel about this. I know this has came up in the past, but its something that can't go away.

TEKKENLOVER
Finally.....I actually like this idea, story wise Kazuya is the one who can change at will, so why even bother with an extra character slot. Lets just hope it gets fleshed out a bit more and isn't just tacked on.
This could co-incide with Harada's comments that he was going to give power back to the mishimas..
Kaz's change into Devil would probably be similar to Yoshi's NSS, perhaps with added benefits such as lasers at the cost of say, more hits by the opp for his tag partner to acquire netsu, or something.
i just find it amusing how an epic character like devil must share a slot with another while retarded characters like the bears and the capo's have separate slots.
not that im complaining about a bear team. i encourage it
@ShinBigboss - On the capoeira question, girls can go in just as hard as the guys in the roda; go and watch some for proof. Distance and speed seem to be regulated by height, experience, and the rhythm of the music, largely driven by the berimbau instrument. I'm not an expert or practitioner of the game, but capoeira seems to be equal opportunity. I agree that Chreddy should each one have either of the two major styles of capoeira.
(here's a vid with the women going in, often times even trickier, than the fellas: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6YDkDoulh9o&feature=relmfu )
Didn't look like anyone in that video was going "hard".... I still remain unconvinced that capo is at all useful for combat purposes. One good lazor shot would sort them out =P
i think this is just fine, Kazuya is said to have complete control over his devil gene, thus he can transform at will and have the same moveset( still the same person afterall)
Jin on the other hand, turn into a different person when he's DVJ, so yeah
God, i hope the game turn out well, not just slap on everything.
@The devil - yeah, I say nothing of its usefulness. Actually, in capoeira's term of art, you don't actually spar or call it fighting; they say they'll play capoeira, and call it a game. It's really a game to show off mastery of certain skills and tactics, so I guess "going hard" should actually be "getting tricky".
But even if it's not always useful, it's always funny to watch: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6oiADjOdFg)
Looks like Devil Jin's and Devil Kazuya's lasers will be useful again since they look ALOT faster now. In Tekken 6, Devil Jin's Laser is not only not useful at all, but I often do his 1+2 laser when I press 1,2 punches too fast and the game thinks I did 1+2. Not fun.
Looking good. Maybe Devil Jin can change back to regular Jin, too?

He should change completely.....
Looks early, they probably slapped something together to put an end to all the Devil requests on twitter and facebook.
if he changes completely its going to be awesome
loving those tekken 2 animations on the lasers
We got laz0rs up in this piece.
