Apparently, the new changes to jin's df14 has totally wrecked his mixups from it. the trick kick seems punishable(and perfectly seeable). and does not warrant any form of ducking against the high 4. also totally destroys any form of ch baiting for a mid 4. good job namco.
yipee. new gimmicks for mid-low tier people, and more effective stuff for the top tier ones.
@鉄拳英会話 hey what about jun and ogre? both of them were shown on trailer did u see them in gameplay? by the way i have question alisa you his down 3+4 in tekken 6 was really slow and it was really hard to get juggle out of it did they make it easier this time? what about her d/f+2 if you compare alisa's is much slower than paul, beak or lee's d/f2, did they make her d/f2 faster to execute or is her d/f2 is exactly as it is in tekken6?
there was no gameplay for ogre or jun in this build.
As for alisa, I'm not sure about her 3+4, but her df+2 seemed the same speed as before. The one thing I noticed about it though was that it didn't launch crouchers on normal hit. At least I remember it launching crouching opponents before on hit. Now it does the same hit animation paul gets if he does df+2 on a crouching opponent. So that could be a nerf for her if I am remembering her move properties from br correctly.
jaycee = JC = julia chang
@鉄拳英会話 just one more thing so when will be next time you guys will get the chance to play TTT2 again?
Question for 鉄拳英会話!
Looks like TTT2 rounds ends with a TTT1-style replay (the three-angle fast cut replays). At the end of the replays, is the KO animation (when you beat an opponent with a mid or low hit) shown in full or does it always cut short by default? In all the vids the KO is always cut short by the win pose animation- is this by default or is it just that in all the videos the players are pressing the button to skip? Thanks
I believe the camera cuts short like that automatically. Actually when I saw it I found it quite jarring too!!
I'm not sure when they will have another open test for the game. Hopefully there will be a few more actual beta tests in arcades, so that more actual tekken fans can test it. I'll try to keep my eyes open for some to see how the game changes from here!
Thanks for the answer! Darn, I thought so... man, I hope they change this for the final game. It's really irritating that they'd cut off seeing the actual KO itself. I find it pretty jarring and takes away from the satisfaction. I wanna see the full KO, dammit!
I think the next showing of TTT2 is at something called Enterbrain Fest 2011, in March 12-13.
