I'm wondering if they're still Testing TTT2 in the states? Are they gonna have a USA Arcade release?

That was some shady shit someone was pulling on the Korean arcades. Be it Namco or Korean entities fixing credit prices and/or making deals for inferior hardware, things like that put more nail in the coffins of still-surviving arcades. Sounds like bad management all-around. Bad management was what killed many arcades, probably more so than home consoles and online play. I miss the old days when you could swap out an old board and put in a new board to play different games (CPS1&2). Now operators have to buy new cabinets that cost as much as a car just to play a new game that is almost entirely built on the old game (T6BR -> TTT2).

@Miga-oh: You don't need to buy a new cabinet to play TTT2. AFAIK
I think most of the TTT2 cabinets, were actually used for Tekken 6 & T6BR.

I've seen at least one T6 Cabinet, used for TTT2 at location test.

It's probably harder to set up TTT2, because you need it to connect to the internet and such...
But you can still use Namco Noir Cabinet (T6 Cabinet).

And at some arcades, they used 'older' cabinets to play Tekken 6.

@L_Z_N:
Maybe I used the wrong words. By "cabinets" I was referring to the package sets for TTT2 cabinets (sets of back-to-back cabinets with System 359, live monitor, etc.) and not just the exterior shell.

But I guess that's one (or more) way to save money.
