TTT2: Knee VS HelpMe

Two Korean Tekken legends go at it. The interesting thing about this set is that you can tell both players really want to win by any means necessary. These are some of the best TTT2 matches I've seen so far. Thanks to Cyfren for the uploads.

Are you guys fucking kidding me? "gosh this game sucks. i'll just wait for tekken 7" & "i'll just stick on T6. i really hate the tag system". TTT2 is fucking BAD-ASS!!!, not to mention you're watching 2 the worlds best go at it. You guys must be "Capcom Dick-Smokers"...These are great matches and should be appreciated!

Now that I got that out I'm curious about Knee's character selection. He's rocking Kazuya (Devil) and Devil Jin, both of which are in TTT2 prologue. Is he using these two characters b/c he can put in more lab time w/ this team through prologue? I thought that he would be using Steve / Brian, didn't he use them both in T6:BR? Or is TTT2 going to be a Mishima centered game like TTT?

Your thoughts Aris?

Nice matches.

Mishimas are back to top tier (where they should be) from what I have seen of the current tier list opinions. Maybe that's why he is using them. Although that said I am not sure why that's thought at the moment. (Harada did say he wanted to give them their power back this game)

Amazing matches. At first i thought Knee's mishima team looked a bit under developed as he was missing out on alot of follow up damage, but after a while .... foot in mouth..

Knee dropped bryan because bryan got nerfed in TTT2.

I doubt Knee has his chosen team yet, he played Kaz and Devil Jin in a few Gosu's and his play with them was amazing.
A few things on Kaz:
ff2 in devil mode looks a waste of time poor damage and punished often, although on ch kaz went through his opponent and did more damage...interesting.
f4 looks amazing plus frames and leaves kaz close for follow ups, also a guarenteed stamp on ch

@Devil Kazuya: shame he didn't feel the same way about jin for TTT2...

@ZAP_SRK: what are you talking about? "you guys?" it was venzo that said it.

What's up with the slippery movement in that first video? Is that a stage specific thing or did I miss something?

@MannyBiggz: what do you mean? I don't see anything different about the movement.

Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 3:59 PM | Unregistered CommenterQuadrupledragon

Holy cow, how many time ups were there? It seemed like there were just as many time ups as KOs! They should make it like Marvel 3 where there is 99 seconds and the seconds are extra long.

Paul's voice is so weird!

I can see what the Korean arcade owners meant by saying that they can see Tekken 6 in Tag 2. This is the same game with a new coat of paint. Like they took Tekken 6 and made it so that you have another character and made new stages. Not that I am complaining. I just see what they meant by that.

While the play is very safe and there's a lot of SW'ing (specially Knee SWL'ing the shit out of Mishimas) going on I'm sorry I don't agree with these being some of the best games out there in TT2. Help me's mishimas are simply not on point and if you know mishimas you will know how many of those crouchjabs and for instance dvj df2's really are failed EWGF attempts. It honestly looks like he's struggling a lot of times with movement + ewgf. Of course both players are great and would body everyone on this site... peace out.

@Quadrupledragon

I watched it again, and I think I caught on to what seemed off. In the first match when they were playing in Unknown's stage, the background wasn't matching the movement and that was really fucking with my head.

@Reality

Pretty sure Knee is the one that was playing Mishimas.

Oops sorry you're right reversed the names. Any news on AVP TT2 stream yet? I will be very disappointed if it doesn't happen this weekend as they got the clear for it last time.

In the first vid at 5:50, miguel tag crash goes over deviljin und deviljin gets free shit on miguels back after he tag crashed.
Looks like an issue to me, considering how tag crash is supposed to avoid getting hit on the way in.
