In this video I cover the basics of movement in Tekken 6 which will apply directly to Tekken Teg Tournament 2. I will release another video covering advanced movement in the near future. Make sure you subscribe to our Youtube Channel and leave comments if you have any.

Aris please I have a question...Can instant running be done no matter how up close you are to your opponent ?? Also is it useful to wavedash in someone's face isnt it a little unsafe ? Thanks man
yeah, you can run no matter how close you are to your opposition, just takes a little practice. that's why they're called instant.
wow, I've been playing Tekken forever, and never could nail bdc w/o getting hit. I didn't know about holding back either. Thanks for the tip. Great vid.
Very nice tutorial! I'm just getting into Tekken again after getting more into fighting games, and this is definitely some useful information that I think will help me get better in the long run. I'm not particularly great yet, but it's nice to know that there's always help from the vet's about people looking to get started.
Thanks!
Awesome video. Something similar should be included in the actual game be it a video or a full blown tutorial.
Great video, people should definitely practice a lot to learn movement fundamentals. I've been playing since 2002 and my movement is quite fluid. Unfortunately, here in Canada, our connections seem to be much better than most, so lag is no issue online for me.
@Causeless Rebel....you got it all wrong kid. SC is not a rubish game....your just rubbish at it. Put your money where your shitty mouth is. Enough of this pointless debate. I would not even waste my time owning the god given shit out of you. Ahh these fake ass internet ganstas......Lol
I've never found Tekken's movement system to be THAT damn hard. In addition, I think it adds some more depth to an already intense game. It's not something that 2-4 nights a week of practice and (decent-to-good) match play couldn't help. If you don't feel like putting that kind of time into it, that's cool. If you don't want to buy the game because of that, even better. The notion of everyone being able to play a fighting game at a high level just because they bought it, is just plain stupid.
Some people who are new to Tekken may find Tekken's movement very intimidating. Everyone adjust's differently. I dont think Tekken's movement is that hard either but to begginers it's going to take a while to get used to it.
I'm still not consistent with light dash. When I don't play for a good couple of consecutive days, all my movement skills are affected. I have played since Tekken 2. I know what you mean. Here's a tip for those beginners, practice often!
Word I agree! And this tutorial is a great way to get started. Practice makes perfect. I can''t wait for part 2.
hey aris, i want to ask u something... can i reupload this tutotial with spanish subs?? i mean i want to share all this shit with my ppl but they dont know shit about english, can i do that, i will put the links to your website and refer all the credits to you of course, shotouts from peru in southamerica!!!
@majin, Honestly, I would prefer it if you didn't. However, I don't mind if you transcribe the video and post the transcript in a forum with a link to the video itself. Re-uploading it would only take away from the original videos views.
