A Look at Heihachi's Character Design

Now that we have an idea of what direction they are going with Heihachi's character design in TTT2, I thought it might be a good time to take a trip down memory lane and see how this character ended up with the gay mustache that he's sporting these days.
I've always been a fan of Heihachi's character design because to me it screams Tekken. In every game, he always looks fucking pissed off and mean as hell. I was taking a close look at the footage of Heihachi in TTT2 and he seems a bit out of character. I understand that this "young" Heihachi is actually younger then any Heihachi that has ever been in a Tekken game, but still. My only theory as to why he seems so happy in the video is that he hasn't had kids yet. I mean after having an asshole kid like Kazuya, I'd lose my hair and frown all day long too. Personally, I prefer the older, angrier Heihachi. The new heihachi looks like a cartoon character. But who knows, maybe his character design will change again over the next few months. What do you guys think?

I too prefer the old design, Hei with the infamous horseshoe is iconic to how tough tekken Is, Even no tekken fans would recognise him. but he does look good young

At first when i saw TTT2 Heihachi i facepalmed but now i think he actually looks pretty cool.
I'm sure you will be able to customize him for the old look so who cares really.
But, If I don't get Devil Kaz this time around I am going to be pissed though. It's bullshit that the guy who is the "possessor" of the devil gene, doesn't even turn into devil form.
The artbook even states he can morph at will too.... WTF namco? I guess he is too arrogant to use it maybe...

Looks more like Tekken 2 Heihachi, before Jin Kazama. If Jin is Heihachi's grandson, and Jin and Heihachi look the same age, that would be so weird.
