New Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Trailer, What Do You Think?

Harada has just released a new trailer for TTT2 and it not only shows several returning characters, it also shows a young Heihachi Mishima as well as a completely new mystery character.

This is by far the most polished footage we have seen yet and the game is looking quite good. I'm curious as to why they would add another wrestler type of character to the roster when there are already so many. I would have liked to see something a bit more innovative as far as character design. Her design reminds me of El Blaze from the VF series.

The footage of young Heihachi brings a smile to my face but he needs some assless chaps to go with that gay mustache.

The coolest part of the trailer is by far the tag throws. I wonder how many different combinations will be available.

What do you guys think of how the game is coming along so far?

I'm crying so much because there is no arcade scene at all here in Ottawa. Will be a long long wait :(

I'll be honest, I thought it was Christie at first, but then I'm cool with it. $10 says her name is gonna be "Queen" :p

Trailer was badass, loved Heihachi's palm strike to Feng followed by his smirk and then seeing a brand new rejuvinated Miguel coming in for the kill.

At least we saw Feng's new string from Kenpo stance. :)

It's coming along very good so far.

They've shown plenty of stuff in this trailer to get ppl excited.. New char, new moves, new music, new stages, new costume, new look for Hei. The music in this trailer even has that 'robot voice' thing, that is remininiscent of the TTT OST.

i think that's Julia in a wrestler outfit isn't she kings girlfriend in the story right? makes sense if that was her.

King's girlfriend???? What are you going on about????? haha

Only relationship there ever was involved Jun/Kazuya.... and probably Christie/Eddy.

I have a feeling that the win animations for characters will as varied as the tag throws. I speculate that the win animations will be two characters walking towards eachother and doing something like Asuka trying to get a handshake or the one you see in this video of Jin and Mishima slightly bumping eachother.

Maybe Christie decided to change her fighting style. Wasn't Eddy, her master, involved with the bad guys in the atrocious Scenario Campaign?

oh and @AAK isn't that kenpo move his old 1+2, 1, 2?

New character really does look like Christie. Maybe they finally decided that one capo was enough and made Eddy the only one. No Christie/Eddy teams haha.

Heihachi's moustache is the gayest thing ever. As long as you can change it under customization, then it shouldn't be an issue.

I would have like to have seen a new character besides another masked wrestler because she immediately reminded me of El Blaze when I saw her as well. Maybe Japan has a masked wrestler fetish or something, but she looks aiight. And hopefully she's not the only new character that gets added.

Other than that, the trailer is hot as fuck.

I enjoyed the teaser trailer. The new look and voice for this young or devil Heihachi will take getting used too. The new female is very interesting. I just hope that she speaks Spanish. I was sad that Miguel spoke English, so I am hoping again that Namco Bandai puts a new language in the game.

I am glad that new characters are going to be a part of TTT2, though. I think it is a smart decision rather than focus only on bringing characters back.

I concur! She does look very similar to Christie... If she is not Christie then she is definitely related to her some how? I thought of El Blaze also when I saw that mask O-O So here's a question... If it is Christie will we be able to select characters with different move sets almost like an EX version of a character like in the KOF and Garou series? And ya that Wario-stache is fuckin hilarious.

Well, I'm confused now. She is apparently wearing the same necklace as Julia and she has feathers in her mask... yeah I'm not sure what to think now.

Did anyone else noticed how they block diffrent? When HEihachi was fighting Feng,Hei blocked high when it was high and mid when it was mid. It looked like a parry at first to me cuz it looked like the punches went through but I guess it's a different animation.

aris i honestly dont care what character's fighting style is as long as i can use him or her effectively that would be fine, i am really excited about this, harada said at mlg that his planing to bring some characters to from TTT1 TO TTT2, and here we also have a new character, so probably we see more new characters as well as return of some characters from TTT1

The stages & young-Heihachi designs seem very uninspired or dare I say even ugly. The thing that pisses off me the most above all is how outdated the graphics still are; look at the outlines of the characters. I mean what the fuck? When are they going to have proper anti-aliasing? The music is ok; I just hope they would have returned more to the original roots with that. This was the first display of TTT2 that I was disappointed with. This is of course footage of an unfinished game and Harada said the stages are still incomplete and the Xmas stage was just a rushed job made for that teaser alone, so my hopes are of course still up for this game, don't get me wrong. I sord of dig the "new" character and actually I hope she's instead a Christie-remake so we can move away from having two clone chars.

note that new "?" character and Julia have same medalion <_<

Awe man.. Im more starting to think that its Julia instead of Christie.. She has the same necklace and her current throws already look like wrestler's throws. If this is true, would the likelihood of Michelle being in TT2 go up? Because if they take away Julia i doubt theyre going to throw away Julia's fighting style away. Michelle would be the obvious choice to replace Julia. Im still going to miss my Julia if this is true =(
