Tekken 7 - Top 8 from Wednesday Night Fights 2.5

Feels like it has been awhile hasn't it? Tekken is finally back at Wednesday Night Fights. Tekken 7's debut tournament at WNF saw over 80 people enter the weekly tournament taking place at the eSports Arena over at downtown Santa Ana. The west coast tournament was streamed over on Twitch.tv and had Tekken commentary from Aris, Rip, Tasty Steve, Rickstah, Sajam and more. If you didn't catch the event live, the Top 8 archive is now available to watch on the Level Up Series YouTube channel. Wednesday Night Fights is live every week at 9PM PST on the levelupseries Twitch channel so be sure to follow if you enjoy the content.

Tekken 7 - Top 5 Finals from Next Level Battle Circuit v.69

Tekken 7 is now available so come out and play the game at your nearby weeklies. Over at the East Coast in New York, Team Spooky is back running tournaments for Tekken 7 and NLBC #69 was the debut tournament for Tekken 7 on consoles. Notable players entered into the tournament include; NYC Fab, BloodHawk, FightingGM & Renoface with a bonus $1000 crowdfunded prize pool via Matcherino. NLBC was streamed live on Twitch.tv but you can now watch the Top 5 archive over on the Team Spooky YouTube channel. PS4 Tekken 7 Version 1.02 Update Includes Online Matchmaking Improvements & Voice Chat options

The Japanese Tekken 7 website has posted a notice detailing all the changes being made to Tekken 7 on PlayStation 4 with the Version 1.02 update. List of changes in the update include Matchmaking improvements, player details being taken out, Voice Chat options and a specific property change to Nina's Ivory Cutter. I've added the update details and notice below. If you happen to be in Japan, Version 1.02 on PS4 can now be downloaded with European and US PlayStation Network soon to follow. XB1 and PC platforms will also be receiving a similar update to Tekken 7 but it's coming a little later so stay tuned for news on that when it arrives. PC Tekken 7 Input Frame Count Display Mod

Timing specific move inputs or combos can be difficult but here's a handy new mod for the PC version of Tekken 7 to help out. Altimor recently released his Input Frame Count Display Mod on Github which will display a small number above the command history in the training mode of Tekken 7 that indicates the frame timing of each input. The Mod itself is a separate code injector program so you have to launch Tekken 7 first then later the mode exe to activate it. Once you have it working though, enjoy some extra data to hopefully help you get some of the more advanced execution stuff in Tekken down. Hopefully this eventually leads into a full blown frame data mod for the PC version? Big thanks go to Altimor for making the mod, you can download it over here:

Bandai Namco Gives a Time Frame for the Updates to PS4, XB1 & PC

An update for your updates. New notice came in from the Bandai Namco Europe Tekken website and it's a heads up on the updates and time frame on when they should arrive. If you have the steam version of Tekken 7, you probably have already downloaded a small update right now which is to patch Denuvo. The more notable update is said to be arriving at the end of the week to patch online match making issues on the PS4. The XB1 and PC versions of Tekken 7 is getting a similar update to help alleviate any issues next week. Stay tuned to all the social media channels for news on when the patches go live and the online matchmaking starts to work.
