Shadowloo Showdown V | Australian Fighting Game Tournament on August 29th - 31st, 2014

UPDATE: I'm back and I've just added the full results for the tournament.

The fifth iteration of Australian's Premier fighting game tournament series: Shadowloo Showdown is on this weekend! The tournament gathers the largest amount of local Australian players and frequently pits them up against international competition. For this year, the international guest participating in the TTT2 tournament is none other then the famed Korean player Help Me. The event will be streamed through the ShadowlooHQ twitch channels (Main - Sub) so be sure to tune in if you yourself can't make it out to the event this year. Since I'll be playing in the tournament, I'll be a bit late to update the results.

Help Me's Post-EVO2014 Interview with JDCR

Shortly after his big win at EVO 2014, Help Me took the time to catch up with the EVO champion JDCR and discuss his thoughts on the tournament itself and participating in it. Topics like which players at the tournament he was looking out for, thoughts going up against certain characters and interesting matches get discussed in the interview up on the Tekken Mura website. Since it's in complete Japanese though, I went ahead and roughly translated it for everyone to read.

"Abare Story" Part 1 - Help Me

"Abare Story" is a new series of written columns on Help Me's Tekken Mura website where he goes into details about any experiences with Tekken. The first part of this series stars the site's owner Help Me and reads as If he was .... Interviewing himself. It gets a little sappy in some part but it's worth a good read since it discusses several topics like his origin, trips to Japan, thoughts on the game and more. Since it was all in Japanese, I went ahead and translated it to English for everyone here.

TEKKEN MURA - New Tekken Resource Ran By Help Me

TEKKEN MURA or 'Tekken Village' as it is in English is a new website dedicated to Tekken that is being run by Help Me. Help Me knows quite a bit of Japanese so it seems that this is an attempt to bring news on the Korean Tekken scene to the Japanese one and vice versa. The site just recently opened so it's not that full of features but you can see some early plans like a regular 'Nin Column,' player interviews, frame data pages, Live Tekken streams alert, character discussion pages and some more coming soon. Check back on it (If you can read it) in the future for some news and updates.

Tekken Strike Season 3 Quarter/Semi/Grand Finals Archive

Super late but finally someone uploaded the remainder of Tekken Strike season 3 on Youtube. The reason it took so long is because TekkenStrike is now a premium video and has to be purchased from the NICEGameTV's online store. Hence I have no idea how long these videos will be available.
