We got a lot of footage from Soul Calibur 6 this past weekend so there are a lot of things to look over and glean about what we can expect from the new game. Here is a long and closer look over all the Soul Calibur 6 footage from Aris during a recent stream. This ended up being almost an hour long review of the footage going into detail about some of the mechanics found and comparing them to Soul Calibur games in the past. Soul Calibur 6 Gameplay Demo & Interview from PlayStation Experience

The Soul Calibur producer Motohiro Okubo was at Playstation Experience today to give a longer look into the gameplay of Soul Calibur 6. You can see how the game currently looks in motion with the provided direct feed capture from a PC build of the game. You can also hear Okubo-san go into detail about certain aspects of the game as well as the development team behind it. For some of the veteran Soul Calibur players out there, you may spot some familiar gameplay aspects during this video demonstration. Check out the video over on the PlayStation Youtube channel:

SOULCALIBUR VI PlayStation Experience Gameplay Trailer

A longer gameplay video for Soul Calibur 6 was revealed during the PlayStation Experience event today. This gameplay trailer features a longer and focused look on the gameplay battles showing how it flows with the battle mechanics during the action. Check out Mitsurugi and Sophitia's new moves in the latest trailer. Soul Calibur 6 is coming to PS4, XB1 and PC in 2018.

Soul Calibur 6 Features a New 'Reversal Edge' Battle Mechanic

Wondering what was going on in the reveal trailer for Soul Calibur 6? Word from Bandai Namco have come down to describe the new battle system in place for this time around. SC6 features a mechanic called the 'Reversal Edge' and it is described as a way for combatants to clash against each other and be able to perform powerful counterattacks based on the opponent's action. Soul Calibur 6 is said to take place during the 16th century and will revisit the events of the original SOULCALIBUR. Both new and old fighters will be featured in the roster with our first two confirmed characters being Mitsurugi & Sophitia. Soul Calibur 6 is slated to release for PS4/XB1 & PC in 2018.
