Tekken 7 - Josie Rizal Unlocked for Arcades on April 21st!

The newest character that was revealed for Tekken 7 is set to be unlocked in arcades (Japanese ones at least, Korea seems to be delayed.) on April 21st from the recent update on the Tekken Official website. For those who don't know, Josie Rizal is a fighter hailing from the Phillipines with the Eskrima and basic kick boxing fighting style. She was designed by Mari Shimazaki who you may remember from Bayonetta and the name was suggested by MarkMan as a homage to José Rizal. You can look forward to seeing her in matches and hopefully a complete movelist/combo rundown in Practice mode next Tuesday. (April 21, 2015)

Tekken 7 - Devil Jin is Released Today, In-Game Footage Arrives

Update: Added an hour long Practice mode session featuring Devil Jin into this post!

Devil Jin unlocks today for arcades in Japan and we all now have footage of him in action courtesy of the GuntamaMiraclein YouTube channel! There's a a lot of footage of Devil Jin in matches so this is certainly worth gleaning over if you're looking for any new changes. So far from what I've seen, Devil Jin has definitely improved from before. I mean, go to the 5:05 mark in the video and watch the crazyness with the launching Hellsweeps! For sure that change is going to delight some of you out there. You can check out the footage below.

Tekken 7 Launch Version Imminent, New Details on Local Play in Arcades

March 18 is less then 2 days away from now and this will mark the availability of the game to arcades countrywide in Japan as well as arcades outside. The official website was just updated to provide details on the new local play functions that will be added to the game in the full launch version making it now available to play offline instead of being online only. There's also some other news to report on this build, it seems that the practice mode will be getting delayed slightly as it will now appear in arcades on March 26th. Kuro Kuro Tekken 7 Twitch Channel Archives

Kuro Kuro is doing great work lately with his niconico/Twitch streams of Tekken 7 from Japan's Akihabara Leisureland Arcade. So far, he's streaming the game daily onto those channels with the Twitch stream being in higher quality now so it's more pleasing to look at this time around. His twitch channel is a great resource for Tekken 7 footage and if you enjoy watching it, I'd recommend that you follow his channel. Official Tekken 7 Website Launches (in Japanese only)

Earlier today the official Tekken twitter account linked their new official website anticipating the release of Tekken 7 in around 2 weeks. Currently the webiste is under construction and the only things listed are the various arcade centers in Tokyo that are probably going to get Tekken 7. The other thing is that the character section of the website is open and what shows is probably the final roster for release. The things that are listed are a couple of details I don't understand in Japanese along with the respecitive Power Crush move notation along with the Rage Art Notation, including the 2 newer characters whom we didn't get to see playable yet.
