so Tiger is the best Capo? I wonder why..
he hasn't got b1,4 that in CH gives you a very good hit confirmable juggle.
it's only an impression but looks to me Tiger has a slightly better backdash.
he has ss2 that is quite good but slow and magic 4 only good near wall.
Christie has the same things as Eddy, smaller range, but better after-throw options and hit connections during juggles.
maybe Helpme started from lower to higher ranked Capo?
I'm really curious about what his explanation will be.
I'm an asshole for putting Dr. B. in bottom trash tier. I meant to put myself in that category. My bad.
Enheas: Tiger has b+12 bounce for wall combos and a solid 2 hit mid that when in CH you get about 25% life. It does a ton of damage and unless the opponent knows you can SSL in between (it's predictive but you can), you can just toss it out without a problem.
Also, this might be me speculating as I've played Cano's Tiger several times, but I feel like his limbs are much longer. I could just be imagining it, but the difference feels bigger than T5DR Christie to T5DR Eddy, and that was pretty notable.
@Gandido:
Why a 25% mid mid CH should be better than a potentially 75%+ mid mid CH? plus at wall you can do CH b1,4-hsp 4 with wall splat (eddy\christie). If you do b1,4-hsp 4 non at wall, it blocks sidesteppers too. B1,4 non CH can lead to very good mixups as well, so...
If the 2 of Tiger b1,2 is steppable, then it should be used very carefully.
I noticed with Tiger that his backdash seems a little better as range like you said, but this difference isn't enough for me to say Tiger>Eddy also considered that talking about Tiger his Magic 4 doesn't lead to anything in open space, and it is an high move and is shorter than Eddy's 4(mid safe and very long range and good poke imo).
ss2 is good but not that quick and range isn't enough
ws2,3 is almost useless
taunt after b2 and FC1+2,1+2 is simply ridiculous.
The more I think about, the more i get convinced about HelpMe meaning Christie is the best Capo..
I'm very curious about his reasons and really want to find out wether my thoughts were correct or not.
I'm open to change my mind, but right now I'm very doubtful on Tiger being the best.
@ the guy who signed himself as Helpme: you're very funny.. no doubt your trolling is very funny and we all needed that. bah
@Enheas quit sucking my k-dick and my tier list
Pretty good list all things considered. Nina is probably top if you can use her to her true potential but very few are going to be able to do that, and maybe no one outside Korea.
Mishimas go without saying and I do think a Kazuya with godlike execution would be top.
I agree heihachi's good new buffed d/b + 2 actually works against him. My flatmate is a great heihachi player and I noticed he gets some awful punishment due to random blocks of hell sweep which I am almost certain is mindful defence of d/b+2. Plus d/2 is really risky if blocked.
bruce is to strong !!!!!!
Thank you help me for helping me. Somewhat bold on the upper end of the tiers, but I like that he seems to be keeping the future of the game in the priority. Wondering how long it'll take til we see some dominant Nina's and Bruce's. I'm intrigued at least.
The logic applied here in some cases is astounding. It's not good to get a good low because people will then duck more against a character with godlike mids? Well ok then. Maybe we should give those to all of the cast in order to nerf them - sounds legit. Here I was thinking that gaining a powerful low instead opened up for more hits of Heihachi's mids when there was no reason to duck really before but I guess when you play the "mixup game" of 'low or ewgf' in online ranked you just end up getting fucked due to people ducking your ewgf-ewgf flowchart! (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
Fuck you Namco next thing you know you'll be nerfing king giving him a hell sweep or something I'm seriously pissed.
I think this is amazing. When people make tier lists, people often just copy other people's rankings with small differences. It's the people who can think independently, with lists that look a bit odd that usually provide the most insight. I'll be eagerly anticipating the rest of Help Me's analyses.
@ Reality: Thank God there is someone else out there laughing with me.
It reminds me of my friend who once said that it's actually a disadvantage to use a knife in a fight - because it could be taken and then used against you 0_o
Fucking L O L
Funny how people who arent tournament proven or cant do max damage with the entire cast off of every launcher criticize someone who is tournament proven, can play the entire cast at a very high level and has taught countless players and has given them insight on their own characters. Yeah I'll take HelpMe's word over yours buddy.
Looking forward to his update.
@Reality
Koreans have different tier lists because execution is not a problem for them. In BR Bryan was top10-ish in murrika and top 3 in korea. Kaz can EWGF punish -13 moves (as in punishing hopkicks with a launch), CH df2~ewgf and has the best HS which wallsplats . Hei can't do this stuff. And this isn't just theorycrafting for them.
You always need a community of top players for any tier list that is to be taken seriously. Otherwise all you get is just one player's opinion, which is exactly what this is.
Gandido is wrong. I'm starting to believe Angel is ranked mid at this game not because she lacks a low like DJ or Hei's db+2 but because of quite a few factors
- no fast 13-14f mids (her fastest mids df+1, df+4 are 15 frames)
- bullshit backdash so she can't just bdc~EWGF for the win when nothing else works like the other Mishimas can.
- no good pickup string for low floats, wakeup games a la DJ 1+4,2, Nina d+4,1 etc etc (db+4,3 is slow and still has bad recovery so it's just a combo ender). if she had something like this, her CH hellsweep would be a lot scarier.
I don't get how Bruce and Nina are better than mishimas. Specifically why does anyone think so? I'm very curious.
monster wall carry...outstanding damages..wall damages should be enough as examples
