Tekken 7: MarkMan, "Some things unannounced that will surprise the fans"

The lord and savior of everything Tekken in the west MarkMan recently sat to do an interview with Jemmilion during the Winter Brawl 9 tournament held this weekend. They discuss various things mostly about MarkMan's extremely eventful career in providing for the gaming industry. But they close with MarkMan asked about Tekken 7. At around the 12 minute mark he divulges that there is still some mystery to be seen about the game which have been unannounced by the Tekken Project team. So this could be a sign at some glaring changes between now and the March full release.

Winter Brawl 9 TTT2 Archive

One of East Coast's biggest majors Winter Brawl 9 just concluded. It included a Tekken Tag 1 competition along with Tekken Tag Tournament 2. The cool thing was how Big E allowed free entry to both the Tekken tournaments this year resulting in an 87 man TTT2 tournament and a 51 man TTT1 tournment. Bifuteki streamed the pools and finals. The matches were amazing to watch and check out the exhibition after pools.

Tekken 7: T6-Bound at the Wall Does Not Guarantee Damage

Earlier Wonkey posted on twitter how the new T6-bound effect still allowed you to quick get up after. However, we weren't sure if damage could still be done or not, thankfully Sodam's videos showed an instance of it not working confirming that the wall combo extender mechanics from the previous games do not exist anymore. Thanks to @EvilBowlOfCereal for highlighting this.

Tekken 7: All 1+3 and 2+4 Throws can be broken with either 1 or 2

Thanks again to Wonkey's hard work scouring the interwebs we've found out that the throw system in Tekken has been significantly modified. You no longer have to pay attention to which hand your opponent used to generic grab you with to break it. You just need to hit any punch button. The unique command grabs like Giant Swing, Headbutt, etc. still require you to react, but the generic 1+3 & 2+4 throws no longer demand that you read which hand came out.
